A Nigerian man has narrated his recent experience with police officers who stopped his car on the road.

According to the man identified on Twitter as @Yorubawhitewolf, the officers stopped him to check his car particulars but they fled after hearing an explosion.

The tweep said he himself did not know where the explosion originated from, but later realized that he had a palm wine bottle in his car which was what exploded.

Narrating the incident, he wrote: ”Omo some madness happened this morning. Police stopped me and wanted to check my papers, suddenly we all heard an explosion and they took off.

I also drove off, only to realize my car was smelling of palm wine. Omo na bottle of palmy explode for my back seat.”
