A 28-year-old man said to be a nurse at the Valley View Psychiatric clinic at Dzorwulu has been arraigned before an Accra Circuit court on Monday for allegedly raping a 29-year-old mentally challenged patient.

The nurse, Joshua Penin who was charged with having carnal knowledge of the patient, was granted bail in the sum of GH¢20,000 by the Court.

He is alleged to have raped the patient at the clinic on two occasions.

The court, presided over by Abena Adjin – Doku adjourned the case to July 11, 2016.
