The Ghanaian duo failed to progress in their respective events at the World Athletics Championships in London.

Ghanaian athletes Emmanuel Dasor and Nadia Eke failed to progress in their respective events at the World Athletics Championships in London.

Dasor failed to get onto the tracks for the men’s 400m heats after suffering knee injury and could not take part in the 6th heat of the morning schedule in the event.

His compatriot, Eke, came 23rd in qualifying for the finals of the women’s triple jump slated for Monday.

The defending African champion recorded a distance of 13.54 meters which was below the qualifying mark of 14.20 meters.
