‘I Will Donate 50% of My First Year Salary As MP To The Youth In Ayawaso West’ – John Dumelo Promises by Bernise(f) : 7:21 pm

John Dumelo has started behaving like a ‘real’ politician by making a gargantuan promise on social media in a desperate bid to win the MP slot for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the next general elections.

The fresh-faced actor engaged his fans on Twitter to solicit their views on their challenges and all that. It was during this moment that one fan said he fears Mr Dumelo might follow the traditional footsteps of politicians by abandoning them once he wins the election.

However, John debunked that assertion saying he is in politics to serve and he will need the support of his constituents for more than a 4-year term. “If I don’t continue, who will vote after the next 4 years….politics is service to the nation” he tweeted.

Emphasizing on his intention to rather be a servant, John added that should he win the 2020 election in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, 50% of his first-year salary plus his bonuses as an MP, will be donated to the youth in his constituency as development aid.

Now that’s a very big promise if you ask me.
