Ghanians love Nigerians so much

Politics/ Re: Why Ghana is better than Nigeria by kokaine(m) : 6:54 am On Feb 17

This topic will be better for people who have actually travelled and lived in both places. else our points will be based on nationality bias.
i dont know for instance that Ghana is better than Nigeria.

Markito: Ghana is the most peaceful country in West Africa, second most peaceful in Africa. Peace is Ghana's biggest currency, and a lot of stuff can be accomplished in a peaceful environment

It's also possible to travel to any corner of Ghana for tourism/business/pleasure at any time of the day and carry out business transactions in real time. One is able to plan his or her life and enjoy life in the Ghanaian space

i live in Dutse in Nigeria. Everything you have said about Ghana applies to Dutse too.

Puzzles/ Pidgin English in Ghana versus Nigeria by kokaine(m) : 7:23 am On Feb 17

They say travelling occasions us with culture shock while we learn about ourselves.
However, there are many who do not have the opportunity to travel to other countries and interact with other people. I have often wondered how Ghanians understand the pidgin English used in Nigerian music most times. I want this topic to be about exchanging common pidgin english slangs used in Nigeria versus those from Ghana and see how well we understand what we are saying

i will start:

When you meet a friend, how do you greet in pidgin (NIGERIA)
A. how far
B. whatsup
C. which way
D. watin dey play na
E. senior man! or my leader! or chairman! or boss!

HOW DO THEY REPLY
A. i bam o
B. gallant
C. i firm
D. i dey

A SHORT STORY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE
One day, a man walked into the bank to lay complain about strange debit alerts he was receiving. He became angered by the attitude of the banking officer. He screamed " i will slap you now if care is not taken"

TRANSLATION IN NIGERIAN PIDGIN
E get one day like dat, na so one guy fall inside bank. he wan let them know say mehn, dem don looseguard hin account. come be like say the officer no wan dey feel him cruise, na him my guy hallar say " guy i go burst you slap if you mind your self oh"

Travel/ Re: My experience in Ghana as a Nigerian by kokaine(m) : 11:40 pm On Jun 28

planetE: I recently came to Ghana to enjoy myself. I read many articles which solely centered on the hatred of Ghanians toward Nigerians on the internet before I came. I was afraid before I went. I thought Ghanians were wicked and harmful people but reverse is the case.

Honestly, I have been enjoying my stay in Ghana with regular supply of electric power. Ghana is absolutely peaceful. Ghanians are hospitable and accommodating. Though they keenly observe the movement of a stranger. I have been having a very nice and memorable time since I came. Few days ago, I visited the LA beach and Tema beach. every moment that I had there was exciting. I will be visiting the Accra zoo. Aburi botanical garden as well as the famous KNM park.

Ghana is a lovely country with amazing people worth spending quality time with,

that means solar business cannot thrive in Ghana

Tutorials/ Simulation of an arduino based battery charging monitoring system on labcenter proteus by kokaine(m) : 5:20 pm On Jul 17

Simulation of an arduino based battery charging monitoring system on labcenter proteus.

The system takes logical decisions on LED indicators and relays using battery voltage level as a criteria. The two yellow LEDs represent relay modules that get triggered when a digital high signal is received from the microcontroller.

when battery voltage falls below 10v, The RGB LED gives off red as an indication that the battery is low. At the same time, it triggers the relay on pin 4 to cut off further supply to the load. The rating of this relay is a function of the load. A buzzer can also be made to give off alarm shortly before this shutdown if necessary.

At 12.8V, the RGB LED gives off its green light indicating that the battery is full. The relay on output pin 7 receives a digital HIGH signal that triggers it; disconnecting the battery charger from its supply. (AC). A 12v, 30amps relay is sufficient for this stage.

RGB LED gives off its blue light for all voltages in-between 10.0v and 12.8v. Notice that no relay is triggered. Again, this may be unnecessary.

Even though the accuracy of this voltmeter reading can be improved on by the use of an LM4040 voltage precision module, the inaccuracies can be greatly minimised by ensuring the reference voltage used is 5.0V. I recommend the use of an LM317 variable power supply system to power the Atmega328p.

This system finds application in the design of industrial battery chargers up to 24V. The chargers are designed firstly, and then given their smart functionality by incorporating them with this control system.

There are in fact thousands of transformerless DC to AC power converters from China in our local markets for as low as 10,000 NGN. Incorporating them with a charging and an Automatic load Transfer system, could just be all that is required to build a local 1kva inverter with modified square wave output for low power users in the rural areas.

Although this is strictly a DC system, the code can be modified for undertaking similar tasks with AC voltages. More notably in the design of a voltage monitor when building load panels.

The circuit has been implemented and deployed in small power supply systems. for further enquiry on the complete circuit and code for building this project, kindly send me a direct message. I will be glad to help.
